The pediatric dentist George A. Andreadis was born in Thessaloniki and he graduated from Thessaloniki Dental School in 1996, with a merit. Then, he obtained a diploma in Periodontology & Preventive Dentistry after two years of postgraduate studies in Periodontology, Implant biology and Preventive dentistry in the same University.
Afterwards, he served for a period of 20 months as an officer dentist in the army, in the Hellenic Military Air force in the air force bases of Skyros, Santorini and Thessaloniki.
Thereafter, he undertook specialist postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Leeds Dental Institute, in U.K. a world – leading University in this specific specialty. Along with advanced clinical training, Dr G. Andreadis participated to the evolution of Fluoride slow-release devices – made of soluble glass. These intraoral devices were developed for caries prevention and to alleviate dentine sensitivity. He obtained his Master of Dental Science degree at Leeds University (2000-2002) with a merit.
