The pediatric dentist George A. Andreadis was born in Thessaloniki and he graduated from Thessaloniki Dental School<\/strong><\/span> in 1996, with a merit. Then, he obtained a diploma in Periodontology & Preventive Dentistry after two years of postgraduate studies in Periodontology, Implant biology and Preventive dentistry in the same University.<\/p>

Afterwards, he served for a period of 20 months as an officer dentist in the army, in the Hellenic Military Air force in the air force bases of Skyros, Santorini and Thessaloniki.<\/p>

Thereafter, he undertook specialist postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry<\/strong> at the Leeds Dental Institute<\/strong><\/span>, in U.K. a world \u2013 leading University in this specific specialty. Along with advanced clinical training, Dr G. Andreadis participated to the evolution of Fluoride slow-release devices \u2013 made of soluble glass. These intraoral devices were developed for caries prevention and to alleviate dentine sensitivity. He obtained his Master of Dental Science degree at Leeds University (2000-2002) with a merit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

He has published articles in professional journals* and has lectured at international conferences in Britain and Europe. He has worked in England as a dental officer joining the NHS and in the private sector as well.<\/p>

He obtained his PhD degree from the University of Thessaloniki, with a Distinction in March 2017. His thesis was: \u201cMicrobial aciduricity and acidogenicity in relation to caries activity – Perspectives for the ecological plaque hypothesis\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since 2003, he works in his own practice in the city center of Thessaloniki<\/strong> specializing in children and special needs people. A great percentage of his patients are adolescents and children with dental phobia.<\/p>

He has a special interest and expertise in aesthetic dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, dental anomalies \u2013 like dental hypoplasia -, dental trauma and sports dentistry.<\/p>
